What an absolute riot this show is~ my only regret is that I didn't watch it sooner x'D I think my initial hesitancy to watch it has to do with me not being fujoshi and figuring that would be all the series is about, but it wound up being more than meets the eye :3 This is probably one of the best otaku culture-focused anime I've seen and I was thoroughly entertained by all the references not only to other anime, but to otome and other shojo as well~

Kae is a highly relatable heroine (even if I think she can go a little far with the fujoshi fangirling at times, lol). I really liked how unapologetically nerdy she was and that there was no expectation for her to change her interests in order to "earn" love. Most members of her harem start liking her for superficial reasons (namely the body transformation), but as time goes, they grow to love her and her quirks exactly as they are ^w^ I don't typically enjoy harem anime, but I liked that everyone here had their chance to shine despite the short run time. I spoiled myself to the "endgame" romance (which absolutely delighted me, personally <3), but I think Kae had plenty of viable partners who could have worked as well~

Overall, an extremely enjoyable show that I had a lot of fun with ^w^ 9/10~
